Unfortunately websites are not free and neither is Hapkido training.  Most of us have had to pay  brick and mortar martial arts schools a hefty monthly fee and have even signed contracts.  At the time of this writing Hapkido schools (if you can find one) cost between $80 and $200 a month!   Hapkido Online gives you a number of Black Belt Hapkido Instructors right in your living room for a fraction of the price.
Note:  The membership prices below are for a promotable member ( a person who can gain rank).  Uke's may train alongside members for free unless they decide to gain rank in Hapkido then they must join.

Belt Testing Protocol
It is best to meet with your Hapkido Online teacher regularly in Video Conference (at least once a month or so)  The teacher decides when the student is ready to test.  If you are submitting video's instead of the digital dojang, simply submit them for teacher review purposes regularly.  If the teacher decides that the review is satisfactory they may choose to call that review your test and request your test fee.  It is considered rude in traditional martial arts for the student to demand a teacher test them.  Trust me, practice often and review with your teacher often, this is the best course.  You will find that if you heed my advice you will move right along.
Gup Testing Fee 
This is a fee for gup testing.  It's a one time fee (per belt rank) just in case you need to repeat a test.

Dan Testing Fee
This is a fee for dan testing at all Dan levels. It's a onetime fee (per belt rank) just in case you need to repeat a test. All gup certificates required for test.

    Step Two
    All members must fill out a Hapkido Release and Assumption of Risk Agreement

    I hereby acknowledge that I have voluntarily applied to participate in a certain martial arts class or classes and to participate in certain other activities, to be determined (collectively, such activities being herein collectively referred to as the “Activities”, by Jon Ferguson or Hapkido Online (the Sponsor). I understand that the Activities do involve certain risks and dangers. I am fully cognizant of such risks and dangers associated with the Activities. I am fully capable of participating in the Activities and I willingly assume the risk of injury as my responsibility. I understand and agree that any bodily injury or death suffered as a result of my negligence or the negligence of any member of my family participating in the Activities is my full responsibility. In consideration of and as a part payment for the right to participate in the Activities offered by the Sponsor, I agree that I am in good health with no physical defects that might be injurious and that I am able to handle the risks and dangers associated with the Activities. As lawful consideration for being permitted by the Sponsor to participate in the Activities, I release from any legal liability Jon Ferguson, Hapkido Online, or Dunamis Tao Hapkido from any and all injury or death caused by or resulting from my participation in the Activities. I agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor and it’s officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and their respective heirs, successors and/or assigns for any injury or death caused by or resulting from me or my family’s participation in the Activities. This contract shall be legally binding upon me, my heirs, my estate, assigns, legal guardians and my personal representatives. I have carefully read this Agreement and fully understand it’s contents. I am aware that I am releasing certain legal rights that I may otherwise have and I enter into this contract on behalf of myself and/or my family of my own free will. I further understand that any photo's, audio, or video I submit to Hapkido Online becomes the property of Hapkido Online and my be used to teach.

Unfortunate Disclaimer.

Sometimes in martial arts schools you get a student that badgers the other students. In spite of the teachers tutelage some students never develop peace in their hearts and compassion for their fellow man.  The leadership of Hapkido-Online reserves the right to cancel memberships at any time without a refund.  This may seem extreme and hopefully we will never have to exercise this power but it is only fair to let you know our policies.
